How do I know if this institute is right for me?

Which languages and levels do you teach?
At UCAN, we offer beginner, intermediate and advanced courses for Egyptian Colloquial Arabic, Modern Standard Arabic, and English for Non-Native Speakers. In addition, we also offer specialty language courses such as Korean and others.
Do you offer part-time and full-time programs?
Our most popular course tracks are 36 and 52 hour programs. However, we pride ourselves on offering flexible scheduling so that you can integrate your language courses easily into your daily life. Full-time programs are also available and include added language assistance.
When is enrollment open for your courses?
We offer a rolling enrollment program so you can register for private our group classes all year-round. Many of our students continue their language education with us for years as they love advancing across our academic levels.
What is your teaching methodology & training?
The UCAN Learning Institute has developed its teaching methodology over the past two decades. We believe that we are all life-long learners, so we continue to advance our teaching techniques, curriculums, and tools year after year. In addition, we select the best teachers from around the region who will inspire you to keep going and accomplish your language goals.
Do you offer courses in-person or online?
The answer is we offer both! Since we are living in an ever-evolving world, we know the importance of creating flexible learning environments. For this reason, we offer on-site classes in Egypt for residents, visitors and those seeking immersive experiences. Then, we also offer online courses which can be mixed with on-site classes upon request or you can do 100% online learning.
What does each course include?
Each program includes the classroom hours with the teacher either in-person at one of our centers or via Zoom online. Included in the program fee is a digital version of your textbooks, guided homework assignments, helpful supplements like flashcards and study-tools. And, after each class, your teacher will send you whiteboard notes from the day’s lesson plan along with voice recordings to practice hearing the correct pronunciation and accents.
How much are your courses?
Affordable education is important to us. Course prices are set based on the number of hours required, the frequency of classes and are based on private vs. group sessions. To get a quote for a course, please contact us.
Do you offer flexible payment plans?
Typically, the course fee is due on the first day of class. However, we understand that each student has his or her own unique financial situation. We work with each individual student to work out a payment schedule that fosters continued learning without the stress.
What precautions are you taking for COVID-19?
At each of our on-site language education centers, we take all of the necessary health precautions to keep our environment clean and our students, teachers, and staff members healthy. When you walk through our doors, you’ll find hand sanitizer as well as social distance precautions being taken. We can also provide you and your group masks on request.
