What inspired you to start studying Arabic?
I wanted to work in the Arab world because of the socio-economic influence it has in the world.

What has your experience been like at UCAN?
It has been great! The teachers are very personable and friendly. The classes are filled with activities and with many example sentences that help with understanding hard grammar rules.

Tell us one of your favorite experiences or memories at UCAN?
I loved how our teacher shared with us silent movies so that we can explain what happened in Arabic. The movies are great.

How has this program impacted your daily life/and or career?
I am able to imagine specific examples for each word and that helps me understand the context of the word better. I am able to be less stressed about hard grammar rules.

I am also able to easily ask my teacher things related to Egypt without having to feel lost all the time.

What would you tell someone who is considering studying at UCAN? What should other potential students know?
UCAN is full of energetic and friendly teachers who are always available to help. Their textbook is excellent and easy to follow.
